#1 Trade Performed (GOOGL)

  • Stock: Google Stock (GOOGL) at $195 Stock price

  • Sell Put: $190 strike, 21days DTE, premium = $1.55

  • You collect: $155

  • If Google > $190 at expiration: Keep $155, no shares bought.

  • If Google < $190 at expiration: Buy at $190 (cost for 100 share $19,000), but net cost per share= $190 - $1.55 = $188.45

#2 Trade Performed (UNH)

  • Stock: United Health (UNH) at $240 Stock price

  • Sell Put: $235 strike, 7days DTE, premium = $1.35

  • You collect: $135

  • If UNH > $235 at expiration: Keep $135, no shares bought.

  • If UNH < $235 at expiration: Buy at $235 (cost for 100 share is $23,500), but net cost per share = $235 - $1.35 = $233.65
